From: "The Adventures of Monika"

3. Returning home, she sat by the window wondering why the little lamb had not come home.
It had begun to rain so it made the search even more difficult. She was beginning to fall asleep…..
As she slept, she dream't of flying across Saint-Malo Bay. The Bay was dark and bottomless even though it seemed that it was in full daylight; and as she looked down she saw her reflection on the cool water. “That is but a distorted version of what I am”. she said too herself. Is that a dragonfly next to me or is it an aberration of myself? Her wings were vibrating so fast she could barley see them although she knew they were connected to her body. Monika tilted her head to see where the Sun was and saw fifty or more Suns that sparkled on the water below.

Red Arrows

So there I was, it was 1965 and I was stationed in Chateauroux, France in the Air Force. It was early on a Saturday morning and I was walking along the flight line watching the mechanics work on the planes while waiting to do some documentary photos for the Safety Office and BAM! Six British jets buzzed the tower and announced their arrival with a lot of noise. After a couple loops and rolls, they all landed and told us that they were going to give an air show the next day. I said "Could I come along and get some photos ?" The lead pilot said "Oh sure, why not Yank!" So the next day I showed up at the flight line again with my camera and lots of film and ready to go. It was an opportunity of a lifetime and I knew it. I sat in back of the lead pilot and took many photos of all the aerobatics during the show. I never thought how heavy my camera would become when we were pulling a lot of "G's as we went through all the maneuvers. It was really difficult to even look through the camera since it was moving all around in front of me. After all these years, I finally came across them and scanned the slides for you to enjoy. The Proud Americans
R. William Lindsey 2.7.2011

once a band of proud Americans
that hunted the lands
So wide open at the time in 1834
they chased the Buffalo
and called them Tunta..
a word that meant beast.

a peaceful people that honored
the Deer that ran
and the Birds that flew
in their world of quiet purity.

the proud Americans didn’t
understand the ways
of the White Man
and could not believe
the lies that came
from their mouths.

these proud Americans
were known as savages
and honored their
Mother and Father.

unlike the White Man
they told the truth
and blessed the animals
they had to kill
for food.

they shared
many campfires
to the
end.

Space Angel

This is one of my latest adventures into digital composition using the computer as a canvas. I began with a blank canvas and opened my imagination to create this image that seems unreal but at the same time, it could be as real as the imagination would allow. What do you as the observer think?
