So there I was, it was 1965 and I was stationed in Chateauroux, France in the Air Force. It was early on a Saturday morning and I was walking along the flight line watching the mechanics work on the planes while waiting to do some documentary photos for the Safety Office and BAM! Six British jets buzzed the tower and announced their arrival with a lot of noise. After a couple loops and rolls, they all landed and told us that they were going to give an air show the next day. I said "Could I come along and get some photos ?" The lead pilot said "Oh sure, why not Yank!" So the next day I showed up at the flight line again with my camera and lots of film and ready to go. It was an opportunity of a lifetime and I knew it. I sat in back of the lead pilot and took many photos of all the aerobatics during the show. I never thought how heavy my camera would become when we were pulling a lot of "G's as we went through all the maneuvers. It was really difficult to even look through the camera since it was moving all around in front of me. After all these years, I finally came across them and scanned the slides for you to enjoy.
